USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams was the star of the game, completing 28 of 40 passes for 403 yards and six touchdowns. He also rushed for 58 yards.
.USC built big lead, but Colorado stormed back. Trojans led 34-7 in Q2, but Buffaloes scored 24 unanswered points to cut lead to 3 points with 6 minutes left.
The USC defense held on in the final minutes to secure the victory.
Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders was making his debut in the game, and his team showed plenty of fight in the second half.
